Frequently asked questions
Quick answers on getting paid via Pix, holding USDT and using your balance.
Getting started
What is Valure Pay?
A way to get paid: your customer pays via Pix and the amount arrives as USDT, normally in seconds, straight to a self-custody wallet only you control. It runs 24/7. Brand operated in partnership with a licensed institution.
How does getting paid work?
Three steps. You charge via Pix with a link, QR code, boleto or digital POS, and the customer pays as usual. The amount becomes USDT at the current rate, on the Polygon network. The balance lands in your self-custody wallet.
How long does it take for the USDT to arrive?
Normally in seconds. Settlement happens on-chain, on the Polygon network, and you can watch the USDT arrive in your wallet.
Does it work at night, on weekends and holidays?
Yes. Settlement runs 24/7: late night, Sundays and holidays, no business hours and no queues.
Do I see the rate before confirming?
Yes. The rate appears on screen before you confirm. Amounts shown on the site are illustrative examples.
Wallet and self-custody
What is a self-custody wallet?
It’s a wallet only you control. The USDT balance stays in your wallet, not with third parties. Move your balance whenever you want.
Which network and asset does Valure Pay use?
The settlement asset is USDT, on the Polygon network. Every settlement is recorded on the network and can be verified.
What happens if I lose my recovery phrase?
The recovery phrase (12 or 24 words) is the only way to restore your wallet. Write it on paper and keep it offline, somewhere safe. If you lose the phrase, no one can recover the wallet.
Can Valure Pay ask for my recovery phrase?
No. Valure has no access to your funds and will never ask for your recovery phrase, by chat or by email. If anyone asks, don’t share it.
Using your balance
What can I do with the USDT I receive?
Pay a Pix to any key, pay boletos, pay Pix QR codes, send USDT to any compatible address and pay suppliers and your team, all from the same balance.
Can I send money to another country?
Yes. You send USDT from your wallet to any compatible address, normally in seconds, and the recipient uses it from their own wallet.
For businesses and platforms
What’s the difference between the Gateway and the Valure Pay API?
The Gateway is for businesses that want to charge via Pix and receive USDT with no integration: links, QR codes, boletos and digital POS come from the dashboard. The Valure Pay API is for platforms that want to bring Pix → USDT into their own product, with REST/JSON and webhooks.
How do I know a sale was paid?
Through real-time confirmation webhooks (sale created, paid, canceled or expired), signed with HMAC-SHA256, and in the dashboard, which shows charges and settlements.
How do I contact the sales team?
